Meet the Artist | Blaise Ormond

Blaise Ormond is a multidisciplinary artist whose passion is creating and promoting tangible, analog art in the digital age.

Pilipinas is a collection of 110 film photographs taken by Blaise on a recent trip to his mother’s homeland, the Philippines.  This collection focuses on the duality of paradise: the natural beauty of the islands and the underlying realities of a “developing nation.”  A selection of these images are also accompanied by handcrafted necklaces that use the negative film strips as charms.
